Dr. Alcera is a medical doctor specializing in psychiatry. He who co-founded New Age Behavioral in 2014 along with Natalie Eisenhower, APN. When pursuing his dream of starting his psychiatry practice, one of his goals was to ensure that his office provided accessible services to the New Jersey area while maintaining the highest standards of treatment to every patient. Dr. Alcera has a passion for using his extensive education and experience to help others with the following conditions including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, ADHD, panic disorder, bipolar disorder, PTSD and addiction.

Dr. Alcera obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Saint Louis – College of Medicine and completed his residency training in psychiatry at Cooper University Hospital. He has been nationally recognized for his dedication to humanism and teaching of medical students.

He has worked across New Jersey and Philadelphia providing a variety of psychiatric and administrative leadership services to the organizations he’s served. He is well-versed in providing several areas of mental health treatment including ER / Crisis , in-patient, out-patient, community & cultural psychiatry and private practice.
